First Week of First Grade

The students had a great first week of school! The class is learning the routine quite quickly. We have had all of our specials so far, except for music, which we will have on Monday. We have played on the playground, the school yard, and the gym. We have even started several subjects. In phonics, we worked with the letters n, o, and t. In math, we have started addition and in religion, we are learning about how much Jesus loves us and that he is with us always. The students are working on filling their sticker charts, singing songs, and even writing already. It was a great first week!

Wednesday, September 21st: No school for Teacher Development Workshop
Week of September 21st: Book Fair
Friday, October 7th: No school for Parent/Teacher Conferences - this will be an FID day
