What better way is there to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday than with a mystery reader? Our mystery readers came in and read one of my most favorite Dr. Seuss books, Oh the Places You'll Go. This is a wonderful book that challenges children (and adults) to find the success that lies within us. It reminds us that there are ups and downs, but there is always fun to be had! The mystery readers also brought the students some fun Dr. Seuss surprises.
“You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So... get on your way!”
I want to say thank you again for the beautiful flowers! I think the kids must have shared with you my two favorite colors - pink and yellow! I have told the kids pink is my favorite because it's pretty and yellow is my favorite because it just seems like the happiest color! And what a beautiful surprise for my treatment to get pink and yellow flowers! I also want to thank you all for the two large bags of goodies last treatment! I was so overwhelmed by all of it! I just can't find a good enough way to say to thank you! Words do not seem like enough! The joy your children give me daily is gift enough, but the support you have shown me has been so overwhelming and so appreciated! It has made me feel very special and truly blessed! You have helped to turn this difficult challenge into something beautiful by lifting me up! Thank you all very much!
