We had a mystery reader bring us some Easter cheer! She read Happy Easter Curious George by R. P. Anderson. In the story George helps a man who "loses" all his Easter eggs find them. His heart was in the right place, but in typical Curious George style, he wasn't doing what he should be doing. Once he understood that the man was really hiding the eggs for the children to find, he hid the eggs and everyone had a great time! Our mystery reader also brought a small Easter bag for everyone and donated the book to our classroom. Thanks very much! It was a great addition to first grade's library!
