If your first grader brings home a little story book with a note in their agenda book that says to read the book, they should read the book to an adult at least once and if you sign the note in the agenda book or the little book itself, I will give them a sticker for practicing their reading. They should bring the book back to school until it comes home in their keep at home side of their folder. Books are different per each reading group and they are the level your student tests at for both fluency and comprehension, so the more practice with these stories, the better!
