In our poetry workshop today the first grade wrote a poem inspired by Shel Silverstein's fun poem, One Inch Tall.
Fifty Feet Tall
If I were 50 feet tall
I could crush the walls
I would be taller than a T-rex
My fingers would be too big to text
I would be such a beast
I would need humongous feasts
If I sat on my school, it would crush
Then I would have to blush
I would be too big to build Lego sets
Elephants could be my pets
I could play cars with King Kong
My arms would be 20 feet long
My head would be in the cloud
My voice would be very loud
The ocean would be my swimming pool
I would be fifty feet of cool!
