It's Sumdog Week! We have signed the students up for an online math competition called Sumdog. Each child has a username and password written in their agenda book. All they need to do is go to www.sumdog.com and log in using that information and they can play games that will help them become quite proficient in math! Today, Friday, October 17th, your child will be playing for points in a week-long competition. The competitions are set up by the local Lincoln Intermediate Unit. Despite the fact that this is set up as a competition, I have stressed to the students that this is a fun way to practice math and that is what is most important! If your child is not allowed on the internet at home or does not have access to the internet, he or she can play at school when time permits. All students will be given some time at school to play this game. This is a great way to help students practice math! Please email me with any questions you may have! For this competition, each day, the student from each class that has the most points get to have ice cream with Ms. Pam! There will be 5 winners from each class!
