We had one jam-packed Wednesday this week. We started our morning with a beautiful celebration of the Eucharist which I was pleased that everyone in the 5th grade was able to fully participate in. We had students who were choir members, altar servers, readers, and gift bearers. Everyone was reverent and respectful. It was good to see so many 5th grade parents as well! Later in our schedule, we had Guidance, Library, Spiritual Adoption, our Seminarian visit, and a project with our Prayer Partners. Busy, yet productive!
Due to some of these extra things in our schedule, quiz I had planned for this week was bumped. Note the change below.
The envelopes went home yesterday for parents to sign and return if you are able to see your child's grade portal. If you cannot log on/see grades, please sign and return the white slip and a printed Progress Report will be sent home. Please return these next week if you have not already done so.
For a science investigation next week, I've asked the students to bring in 100 of something. It should be small and will not be returned in the same condition. Uncooked pasta, beans, cereal, or beads would be good for this.
In Religion next week, we will be doing our "Safe Environment" Lessons. Your child has a flier to share with you today about this. You only need to sign and return the form if you DO NOT what your child to participate.
There is another informational flier coming home about our Field Trip. Please ask your child to give this to you.
