IOWAS: On deck for the week of April 9th.
We also enjoyed mass on Monday for the Feast of St. Joseph. Big thanks to those sharing their singing talents as we have so many in the choir from 5th grade! Our next school liturgy will be April 6th, which the 5th grade is planning. Please join us if you can.
Despite the yucky weather Spring has dealt us so far, we've been as productive as possible in the classroom. We had some unfortunate eagles news this week which was a bummer, but nature is nature. The kids asked if we could observe another animal cam. I'll have to shop around and see what is available...
On Thursday, we had a school lockdown drill. Our class followed directions well as we had previously practiced, quiet and out of sight. It breaks my heart that our students today need to do a drill like this, but we all know how necessary it is to be prepared.
Monday is our rescheduled day for Reconciliation. Tuesday we have plans with our prayer partners. Wednesday we will attend Stations of the Cross and have an early dismissal at 11:45.
Monday: Science Ch 8 Test
Tuesday: Bring in a baggie of leaves, sticks, grass
Wednesday: Early date to turn in Bk Report
4/2 Final date to turn in March Bk Report & Rdg Log
(If you've been watching our accumulation of Bk It minutes on the 5th grade page, you'll notice we are in need of some help! Please remind your child to finish strong, maintain their calendars, and bring them back to school on time.)
Have a wonderful weekend and a blessed Easter!
