What we did this week:
Reading: Reader's Theater - How the Prairie Became an Ocean -- SEE photos below!
English: Finished Verbs, test & previewed adjectives
Math: Finished division and test
Religion: Completed the mass with the Concluding Rites
SS: Reviewed Europe's Cultures & Lifestyles, test
Today we celebrated the great news! Have you heard?
What great news for a CE week!
Despite getting off to a late start this week, we got in what we could and finished prepping for Catholic School's Week. I hope we are ready to go because we are out of time. Now, only to pray for weather that cooperates with our schedule!
There are presently no scheduled tests/quizzes for next week. The only due date to remember is Friday for Book It Calendars and Projects if they did not come into school today. See reminders on the website for what we are doing from day to day.
Last day for the Box Tops contest is February 3. You will still be able to send them in all year, but this is when the count for the contest ends.
We are still missing safety belts. If you find any at home, please have you child return them to school ASAP.
Reminder: The next CE - due 2/5 - is the only one "sports" articles will be allowed. This will be the CE closest to the Superbowl.
Our class is looking forward to sharing some projects and classwork with you at the Education Fair on Sunday. Remember Opening Liturgy is at 9:00 and the fair is from 10-12. Students should wear their uniforms for mass. Also, please join us at the Open House at the Elementary School and Closing Prayer Service on Friday.
Have a wonderful weekend!
