This site will be used to record long term assignments. It will not be used for daily homework, which will be posted in the physical classroom. Be sure to check the white board daily.
Religion: Chapter 14 test May 19.
Social Studies: Middle East Map and vocabulary test- Wednesday, May 18.

Science: The 6th graders are currently studying classification of organisms and cells. Daily review of notes and the study guide are encouraged. Scores from the weekly health class are added to the science average.
Spelling: Each week a list of twenty words will be assigned. The students will complete pages in their text to review both the spelling and meanings of these words. A test will usually occur on Friday of the week the words were assigned.
English: We are currently studying verbs, As we finish this chapter, we will complete the chapter test. The students will be allowed to use their texts as a reference.

Social Studies: We have begun Chapter 27, WW II. Preparations are under way for our "Rationing Luncheon" to be held on May 19- details were sent home May 11. The end of the year is coming fast, and we will cover what we can; the rest will have to wait for another year.
There will be no more binder checks.

The following items will need to be purchased over the summer and brought to school on the first day. Students should also bring their art bag with supplies necessary for Art Class.
- Eight (8) Marble Copybooks (Math, Reading, Religion, Science, English, Spelling, Health, Music, 6th grade needs one for Geography)
- Two (2) Folders
- One set of 12 colored pencils for Social Studies and small sharpener – keep in pencil case

- A basic calculator with square root symbol (approx. 2 1⁄2in. X 4 1/2in. – large keypad)
