We had a great time during our field trip to Nixon Park Nature Center learning about many of the creatures God made! During the interactive story time, we learned about plants and insects using songs and puppets. Then we explored the exhibits and completed a scavenger hunt. It was a gorgeous day, so we were able to checkout the pond, creek and some of the trails too! This week we had fun celebrating Dr. Seuss! From silly socks, Wacky Wednesday and pajama day to mystery readers and a visit with out 1st grade reading buddies, it was a great week!We have been super busy this fall with literacy, math, and STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and mathematics) activities! We have been learning about the wonderful world that God made for us. We’ve explored pumpkins, fall, trees and turkeys. We went on a nature hike with our 5th grade Prayer Partners to observe signs |
