We have been super busy this fall with literacy, math, and STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and mathematics) activities!  We have been learning about the wonderful world that God made for us. We’ve explored pumpkins, fall, trees and turkeys.  We went on a nature hike with our 5th grade Prayer Partners to observe signs
of fall and conduct a leaf investigation.  We have been studying the alphabet, numbers and rhymes, and patterns with seasonal games and songs.   Some of our class’ favorites have been “Witches Brew” counting game, learning to sign letters in American Sign Language, singing “The Letters on the Bus,” and rainbow writing letters. We’ve made directed drawing paintings of monsters, fire trucks and acorns. We have also made scarecrows, created name turkeys and leaf rubbings.  There is never a dull moment in our class!
