With the wacky weather we have been having, I haven't had much time with our Terrific Threes to even update everyone on!
We have been working on Valentines Day theme. We practiced scissor skills by cutting paper to make valentines. We also used heart shaped marshmallows dipped in paint to make a printed collage. Our fingers got a workout when we madeheart shaped Cheerio bird feeders. We hung them in the trees in the front yard at school for our furry and feathered friends.
We are learning that we can laugh. Laughing shows we are happy and God wants us to be happy. Do you know any funny jokes that make you laugh?
We have now introduced the letter A - G. The kiddos are having a great time with our Alphabet Heroes and they really seem to be sticking with them! Kids your brains!
Our Fantastic four friends celebrated the Olympics by participating in many fun nursery rhyme themed activities. We used dot painters to color the 5 Olympic rings, practiced our ABCs by playing "Mother Hubbard's Doggy Bone," used our problem solving and teamwork skills to put puzzles together in "Humpty Dumpty's Puzzle Race," jumped over blocks during "Jack Be Nimble's Candlestick Hurdles," and played "Mother Goose's Waddle Relay." Everyone showed good sportmanship and cheered for each other. All of the children were gold medalists!
