This week we continued our Lenten unit. We will be reminding the children each day to continue to pray and be extra kind as we prepare for Easter.
We also reviewed shapes and colors by playing a new game called "Snail Mail." This is a fun, fast paced flash card game. The children love it!
We have been practicing counting, patterning and rhyming. The children have been learning to recognize their first names. We have fun playing "Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar?'

DR. SEUSS WEEK
Next week, we will celebrate Dr. Seuss. We will read Dr. Seuss stories, create crafts, play games, and have a silly time! We will also have a special guest visit to read a story. On Monday, March 5, the children are invited to come to school dressed as a Dr. Seuss character. The costumes can be simple. Please do not feel the need to purchase a new expensive costume.
