We finally had a whole week together! I am so glad the weather cooperated. Hopefully, we will soon be able to get back to our regular routines!
This week, we completed the unit we can sing. Next week, we will begin a new unit called I Can Laugh.
We also wrapped up our black and white color unit. We added stickers to our SmartBooks and made bracelets with black and white beads.
We have been practicing counting to 10 with the Chicken Count song. We practiced drawing a given circles on our white boards.
We really need to practice learning to recognize our first names. We will be playing more games in class. At this time, the children do not need to be able to write their name, just identify it. Please continue to practice at home.
This was a really short week for us! Between Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and a snow day, we only had one class. Don't let that fool you! We squeezed lots of fun and learning into it!
We completed our religion unit called God Made Air. Our next unit will be God Made Light.
We also learned more about the letter L and it's sound. We completed our Roll, Say, Color game and practiced tracing to learn how to write the letter Ll. We have been learning movement songs and playing games to review all letters. I am planning to send home a new game soon.
