Our first few weeks after returning from Christmas break have been full of excitement and learning! We had our first snow day of the school year, which we were able to use a Flexible Instruction Day. As I’m writing this, we are just beginning Catholic School Week 2020! This week promises to be full of fun events!
In the Terrific Threes, we have learned that we can share and we can smile. We reviewed colors, shapes and practiced counting. We’re continuing to practice tracing lines. There have also been new songs and games to help up recognize our first names and identify the first letter of our names. We have also been learning about animals in the winter and animals in the artic.
In the Fantastic Fours, we learned that God made music and water. Music and water are things that can be used for fun and to praise God. We also introduced the letters Nn, Oo and Pp. We found a few new songs to review all of the letters and sounds, and to help up get better at counting. We learned that Martin Luther King, Jr. wanted everyone to be treated fairly. We have also been learning about animals in the winter and animals in the artic.
· Snack fee for January - May is due ASAP.
· Weather permitting, we will have outside recess. Please make sure your child has a warm coat to go outside.
