We have been so busy learning and having fun that I completely forgot to post last week. My apologies! Here's a brief recap of what we have been up to: Terrific ThreesWe are learning that we can help and we can clean. We made "Helping Hearts" to show how we can help and played Spider Pick-Up to show how we can clean. The children help us to clean everyday when they put their toys away. We have been working on Halloween themes. We counted the legs on "creepy crawlers" and sorted them into spiders and insects. We practiced colors by playing "Tangled Toss." We read There Was a Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything and re-enacted the story. We tore paper and made mummies. And of course, we practiced our Halloween songs! FANTASTIC FOURS This week we are learning that God made music. We can use music to praise God. We are learning the song "Jesus Loves Me" and the sign language to use with it. We also learned all about the letter F. The letter F is for St. Francis. We learned The F Song and the how to sign it. We played many games with the f sound and practiced writing the letter f. We have been working hard to practice our Halloween songs and can't wait to share them with you! I promise to catch up on pictures this week! I know you're excited to see your children in action!
