Our little ones are very busy! This week, we practiced our routines and introduced some new material.
We learned that we can hear. God made many sounds for us to enjoy! We experimented with the many sounds instruments make and learned new songs.
We also learned about the color red. We put red stickers in our "Smart Books," sang songs about the color red and made bracelets with red beads. You can watch the Red Songs at home by clicking here.
We also practiced identifying circles. The children enjoyed The Sports Ball Song.
We are off to a great year and have been very busy this week! The children are becoming more comfortable in our routines and are excited to be here!
In religion, we learned that God made our families. God is good to give us people to love us and care for us! We learned that each person in our family has jobs to do. We also learned that even Jesus had a family! Jesus' family is called The Holy Family. Jesus was loving, helpful and obedient to his parents, just like we are supposed to be!
We introduced the letter Aa this week! It was so much fun making the letter Aa with stickers in our "Smart Books," singing The A Song and learning to identify the sound of and write the letter Aa.
We had several new classes this week, too! We sang songs with Mrs. Pugliese in Music class, and learned about personal space and how to find our heartbeat in Physical Education with Mrs. Bortner. Mrs. Oliver, our librarian, read The Kissing Hand to us.
