We've had another great week in Preschool! We completed our religion unit "I Can Hear" and started "I Can See." We also continued to work on the color red. We used the eyes that God gave us to look for red things in our classroom with our special "binoculars." We beaded red bracelets, and made red "spray paintings" with Kool-Aid. We also pasted red things into our "Smartbooks." We played many red games and sang songs. We read Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See and Llama Llama Red Pajama. Next week, we will start the color orange!

We had another great week in Preschool! The children are beginning to remember our routines and following the classroom rules.
We began the unit "God Made Our Friends" in religion this week. We spent a lot of time practicing how to be a good friend by sharing, saying kind things and using good manners. We also learned that Jesus us our friend and He wants us to be happy.
We also learned about the letter Bb and its sound. We sang "The B Song," played "Roll, Say, Color" for the first time, painted a bear and worked on the letter Bb in our "Smartbooks." Some of the books we read are Brown Bear Brown Bear, What Do You See?, I'm Going on a Bear Hunt and Courdoroy.
In Phys Ed, we are learning about personal space. This is very important!
