I can pray! God loves when we talk to Him. This is called praying. We can do this anytime or anywhere. In school, we pray to start and end our day, as well as before snack. When do you pray at home?
Our theme this week was mittens! We read Three Little Kittens and The Missing Mitten Mystery. We made patterns in our mitten wreaths. We also laced mittens and decorated them with stickers. We made snow paintings and hid a mitten in the snow like in The Missing Mitten Mystery.
God made colors! God wants us to be happy so He filled our world with many different colors. We learned that people's skin can be different colors, and God loves us all!
We started learning about the letter M! Our saint of the week is St. Martin, who helped others. We practiced the M Song, how to make "M" in sign language and how to write an Mm. We read The Missing Mitten Mystery and Three Little Kittens. We laced mittens and decorated them.
We made patterns with mittens. There are few more letter M activities and color activities to finish next week.
