Welcome back after our Christmas break! We have been quite busy learning the past two weeks.
We learned that we can talk. God made us special -- no other creature can talk and communicate the way we do. We learned to use American Sign Language to say "I Love You."
We also completed many activities with the colors black and white. We sorted pictures, made penguin paintings, worked in our smart books, and sang songs.
Next week, we will begin learning about shapes!
Welcome back after Christmas break! With all of our delays and cancellations, it's been difficult to get back into our regular routines, but we're managing. The children are very enthusiastic learners and love to stay active!
We have been learning about the world that God made for us. This week, we learned that God made land. We learned about many different land forms, such as hills, mountains, and deserts.
We also completed activities for the letter L. The children worked in their Smart Books, sang songs and practiced identifying the letter L in their names.
We have also been trying to spend time each day with a letter review game and rhyming activities. These are both very important skills for beginning kindergarten!
