We completed our chapter called "I Can Clean". We learned that it is important to clean so we stay healthy.
We learned about many saints this week and played fun games to remind ourselves what they can help us pray for. St. Isidore is the patron of farmers. We pretended to be farmers and harvested our crops and then sorted them. We also painted pumpkins. St. Francis loves animals. We practiced counting treats to feed our dogs and made button snakes. St. Joseph is the patron saint of families, so we made a glyph to show who is in our families and asked St. Joseph to pray for them.
We started learned about the color green, which is verde in Spanish.
We learned that God made water. We need water to drink and clean. It helps to keep us healthy. God is wonderful to have given us this gift!
We learned all about the letter h and its sound this week. We learned the H Song and how to make an h in sign language. We practiced the h sound playing games, like Roll Say Color. We also practiced writing the letter h and our names.
We also practiced Old Mother Hubbard.
