Terrific ThreesWhat a great week! We played many new games and learned new things! In religion, we learned that we can help. We might be small, but there are so many things we can do! Let us show you at home! We worked on the color yellow this week. We played a new game called "Hungry Monkey" and tried to hide the yellow banana from the moneky. We sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." We sorted fall shapes by color. We also had fun learning "Itsy Bitsy Spider." Many children were familiar with this nursery rhyme, so we jazzed it up and sang it like they do on Sesame Street. We made spider webs to decorate for Halloween. Fantastic FoursMissing a day together always seems to throw our week out of wack, but we had a great time learning new things! I hope everyone enjoyed the three day weekend!
In religion, we learned that God made Churches. We go to churches to praise God. We can use our whole body to pray. When we pray, we should be still and stand or kneel straight and tall. We also completed our letter E actvities this week. We leanred that St. Elizabeth was a mother and teacher. We painted Elmer the Elephant and played games to identify the sound of the letter e. We practiced tracing and writing the letter Ee. We also began working on a few fall and Halloween crafts. Please send the list of your family members and photo ASAP. Thanks!
