We had a wonderful week enjoying the fall weather! We were able to spend time playing and exploring outside. We were able to spot many signs of fall and helped Mr. Josh by picking up the pine cones.
We complete the "I Can Taste" unit in religion and started "I Can Help." Our class is blessed to have such good helpers! The children work well together and are always "happy helpers" when we clean up our toys.
We also wrapped up our color orange activities. This is such a fun color to do in the fall! Next week, we will start learning the color yellow!
October is Fire Safety Month. We started reading a few stories, like "Firefighter Ted" and discussing fire safety rules.
God blessed us with a truly wonderful week of fall weather! We were able to spend time playing and exploring outside. We were able to spot many signs of fall and helped Mr. Josh by picking up the pine cones.
This week we completed our religion unit "God Made My Church Family" and started the unit "God Made Churches." I am hoping to make a class visit to our school chapel next week.
We also wrapped up our letter D activities with the story "If you Give a Dog a Donut" and of course had donuts for a snack. We began learning about the letter E and its sound. We found the letter E in our names 17 times! We read "Elmer" and will be completing our own Elmer the Elephant craft next week.
