In religion, we learned that we can smell. God loves us and wanted us to enjoy wonderful scents in our world. Of course, there are also some not-so-wonderful scents as well!
We started learning to identify the color yellow. We painted a yellow parrot, which will be one of our decorations for International Talk Like a Pirate Day next Tuesday. We also learned "The Yellow Song," snipped yellow strips of paper and played games with the color yellow.

In religion, we completed the unit "God Made Friends." We reviewed our "Green Choices" as ways to show we can be good friends to others. God loves us very much. He gives us friends to make us happy and to help us share His love with others.
We also met the Letter Bb this week. We played a new game called "Roll, Say, Color." While we did already color the pictures, you can play again at home with your child by using pennies, buttons, etc. to cover the pictures as he/she rolls the number.
We also worked in our Smart Books to practice the /b/ and how to correctly form the big B and little b. We painted a bear brown and read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? We enjoyed dancing and singing along with "The B Song." I posted the link below. We will finish our Letter B activities next week.
