We have been learning about our sense of smell in religion. This is another wonderful gift from God! On Thursday, the students used tissue paper to create flowers.
This week we began working on the color orange. The students used orange paint to sponge paint pumpkins. Our pumpkins will be part of our fall display in the hall.
Our new nursery rhyme is "Hey Diddle Diddle." We will continue activities with this next week.
Please remember that we do not have school next Thursday, September 27! Teachers will be attending the Diocesan Education Conference.
In religion, we are still learning about our families. If you haven't done so, please send in the names of your child's immediate family or family with whom he/she lives. We will use these for our family tree projects and it's helpful to have the correct spellings.
We finished our unit on the letter A and began learning about the letter B. Next week we will have many fun activities to learn about the letter B and its sound!
On Friday, we went to the computer lab and practiced using the interactice pen on www.thisissand.com. Groups of students worked together to make colorful sand sculptures. Click here to see them!
