We had a great week learning that God gave made us so we can taste. We categorized what kinds of food grow on plants and trees. We will keep working on this unit next week.
We also started learning the color orange this week. We painted paper plates orange and made them into pumpkins with our hand prints for leaves. We went on Color Safaris to find objects in our room that are orange. Our little fingers got a workout when we played Pom Pom Pick Up. Learning is so much fun!
The weather cooperated so we were able to play outside both days. We found bubbles and sidewalk chalk in the closet and we had a lot of fun with them! Enjoy our silly pictures!
After wrapping up our "God Made Helpers" unit on Monday, we began "God Made Our church Family." God loves us so much that He gave us other people who love and pray for us too. We learned that Mary is our mother in Heaven and she loves us just like our mothers on Earth do. We will keep working on this unit next week.
We also learned about the letter D. The Letter D is the Daring Diver! We learned The D Song and how to make a D in Sign Language. We played games to practice the sound the letter D makes. We learned to trace and write the letter Dd. We looked for the letter Dd in our names, too. We also painted a dinosaur and spelled our names on its back spikes. We have a few more fun activities to complete the letter D next week and then we will start the letter E!
